LEADERSHIP JOB BENCHMARKING PROCESS

Purpose: Create Customized Ideal Leader Profile for a specific position. Can then compare internal and external candidates for Job fit.

Use When: Board Members/Stakeholders have a strong understanding and alignment of operations, impact, and strategic vision of the ministry growth goals.

Timeframe: Takes 1-2 weeks depending on stakeholders' availability. Meetings by Zoom.

  • Determine:

    • Position Stakeholders (Supervisor, key leaders, Board Members)

    • Facilitated Benchmarking Meeting (Determine & document responsibilties, success criteria, SMART Goals)

    Deliverable: Publish Benchmark parameters

  • Assess:

    • Stakeholders fill out Job Questionnaire

    • Compile results into Ideal Candidate Profile

    • Review/debrief/explain Profile results.

  • Deliverable: Transition Plan with milestones and timeline including:
